The 2022 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results are anticipated to be announced by the minister of education, Ms. Janet Museveni, on Friday.
John Chrysestom Muyingo, the State Minister for Higher Education, announced yesterday that the exam results will be made public on Friday at 11 a.m.
They are anticipated to be released at State House Nakasero. Sources claim that the Uganda National Examinations Board (Uneb) would update the minister of education today about the students’ performance before the results are announced.
This is the final set of national exams that Uneb will publish. Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) and Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) results, the first two sets of the end-of-cycle exams, have already been made public.
More than two principal passes will be required for pupils to be admitted to universities and other tertiary institutions. If they don’t receive two principle passes, they will have to retake Senior Six or utilize their UCE scores to enroll in tertiary institutions.
98,392 people registered to take the 2022 UACE exams. More than 800,000 students took the PLE exam, followed by roughly 300,000 candidates who took the UCE exam.
Since then, every applicant who completed the PLE exams has enrolled in Senior One.
