The National Council of Sports has invited competent firms and companies to apply for pre-qualification to provide supplies, services and works for three financial years.
The pre-qualification covers the 2026/2027, 2027/2028 and 2028/2029 financial years.
NCS said the process is intended to identify capable providers for different categories of supplies, services and works required by the institution.
Interested bidders can obtain the pre-qualification bidding document from the NCS headquarters at Plot 2-10 Coronation Avenue, Lugogo Sports Complex, Kampala.
The documents will be available on working days between 9:00am and 4:55pm, starting Monday, June 22, 2026.
Supplies, services and works needed
Under Category A, NCS is seeking suppliers for office furniture, carpets, curtains and fittings, plumbing materials, firefighting equipment, generators, solar equipment, kitchen equipment, air conditioners, security gadgets, promotional and branded items, electrical equipment, motor vehicle tyres, batteries and spare parts.
The supplies category also includes fuel and lubricants, uniforms, protective wear, corporate wear, sports equipment, computers, computer consumables, office equipment, software installation and maintenance, soft drinks and tea necessities, essential drugs, medical sundries and first aid kits.
Under Category B, NCS is seeking service providers for events management, public relations, catering, security and guarding, legal and advisory services, business management consultancy, records management, strategic planning and research, property valuation, quantity surveying and architectural services.
Other required services include quality assurance, project management, website design and maintenance, auctioneering, brokerage and debt collection, land surveying, accounting and auditing, training, transport, property management, clearing and forwarding, courier services, travel services, firefighting services, vehicle repairs, advertising, hotel and conference services, cleaning, fumigation, sports facility maintenance, insurance, plumbing, garbage collection, media production and environmental and social impact assessment services.
Under Category C, NCS is inviting firms for civil works, renovations, repairs, premises maintenance, electrical and electronic works, building and construction, metal fabrication, painting works, sports infrastructure construction, water, plumbing and sanitation works.
Application requirements
NCS said pre-qualification submissions will be evaluated in accordance with Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets procurement guidelines.
Interested bidders must submit a written application before obtaining the bidding document.
They must also pay a non-refundable fee of Shs50,000 after generating a Payment Registration Number through the Uganda Revenue Authority portal.
NCS said it will not accept liability for loss or late delivery of bids.
Bidders must indicate the specific items they are applying for in the bidding document.
They are required to submit one original bid and two copies.
Companies must also clearly indicate their official email addresses, names of directors, directors’ contact details and close company representatives responsible for day-to-day operations.
NCS said this information should be placed on a separate sheet in the bidding document.
Bid submission deadline
Bids must be delivered in sealed envelopes clearly labelled: “NCS Pre-Qualification for Provision of Supplies, Services and Works Category.”
Submissions should be addressed to the Head Procurement and Disposal Unit, NCS Headquarters, Plot 2-10 Coronation Avenue, Lugogo Sports Complex, P.O. Box 20077, Kampala.
The deadline for submission is Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 11:00am.
Bid opening will take place on the same day at 11:30am at NCS Lugogo Sports Complex.
NCS said bidders or their representatives may attend the opening.
Late submissions will be rejected.
The council also said all existing suppliers must re-apply if they are still interested in providing the listed supplies, services or works.
