Matsiko to thrill Kabale

Kickboxing fans from Western Uganda will be entertained to international standard action when homeboy Alex Masiko hosts an UAE based fighter come Boxing Day (December 26) in a fight dubbed ‘Dance of the Lions’

Masiko, a former K1 World Kick-boxing Federation (WKF)welterweight and Intercontinental title holder will be taking on El Medhi Lakrami of the United Arab Emirates in the Super Welterweight (66.9 kg) in anon – title fight.

The fight sanctioned by Uganda Kick-boxing Federation (UKF) will be held at Agaba Tavern, according to promoter Amon Mugume. “The is one way of giving back to the people of my community and also to identify talent.

The proceeds of the fight will go to two local hospitals in the area namely Kamukira and Kitooma Health Centers. I grew up in the area and have seen people suffer in many medical areas and I have decided to give back to the community,” noted the Ugandan fighter who has been loading power for the past two months.
