Open letter to Bobi wine from his FDC Ally that shocked Every one

Dear Hon.Robert Kyagulanyi.
This is Tom Voltaire Okwalinga (TVO), saying Hello to you I can add in the name of the struggle, which I have been involved in for close to a decade, a struggle that is chiefly aimed at bringing good governance to our beloved country.

I have had to risk and miss out on a number of ordinary matters just to be able to continue the struggle without being knocked off by the killer regime.

Today, I write this open letter to you because I feel you are a fellow activist and freedom fighter and someone who has embarked on this dangerous journey to tackle the dictatorship.

I also recognize the fact that you have made an understanding with the People’s government, which I support and which I consider the only legitimate government in the country that was denied assuming power that it won.

For that, we are allies by default., The purpose of this letter is to express my opinion at the way your People Power Movement does its work and what I think would be the way to improve on the methods of work, so that together we can work towards the goal of removing M7 as a united force.

The first point is that this weekend, you called on several people who are in power people movement to leave their parties, religions, and tribes at home when they come to people power gatherings.

You also made it clear that people power was not a forum for people to go to and promote their personal political careers and political parties.

I understand your new tone which must have been a result of many people power activists who have continued to be very active in their parties.

On this point, I can say that these people cannot just abandon their mother political parties as long as people power is not a legal entity, fully registered to front candidates. For example, today you are headed to Hoima to support a woman MP candidate who is from FDC party, and her posters say it all.

Secondly, on the issue of people leaving at home their tribes especially, I think it is high time, that your people power assumed a national character, this is most observed in the manner that people power has chosen Luganda as its main language of communication, and even Honourable, when you have made tours in Europe, South Africa and elsewhere and address Ugandans, ýou have preferred to use Luganda in the 999 percent of your communication.

This has turned people’s power into a Kiganda thing and has not attracted many people from other areas especially the non-Bantu who find Luganda difficult to learn. I hope you will address this.

Lastly, I advise you to convene a People power national conference and make yourself be voted as the interim or permanent leader of this movement.

I think you have had voices asking you, about who appointed you as leader of people power and later as a presidential candidate.

If this continues you will see more people coming up to challenge your “authority”, also you cannot accuse Museveni of nepotism when people power seems to be a family thing with chairman Nyanzi who is heavily involved and Mike wine etc who has declared candidature for Kyadondo East MP. This may not be a good precedent.

I WELCOME YOUR CALL FOR A REVOLUTION, AND I AM CONFIDENT IF YOU WORK WITH PEOPLE’S GOVERNMENT ON THIS, IT WILL SUCCEED SINCE IT IS REPRESENTED ACROSS UGANDA.

TRUTH BE TOLD, PEOPLE POWER IS FOR NOW STRONG IN CENTRAL AND WE NEED THE WHOLE COUNTRY FOR A REVOLUTION TO SUCCEED, AND THE PEOPLE’S GOVERNMENT HAS THAT SOLUTION.

FOR GOD AND MY COUNTRY. I REMAIN  TOM VOLTAIRE OKWALINGA.
