The Busoga Katuukiro thanked well-wishers, including Mr. Moses Karangwa, the Kayunga district NRM chairman, for contributing five cows, and others who collectively donated Shs4 million.

Notable contributors from Kayunga District, such as Mr. Bashir Ziraba and Ms. Margaret Ssempala, were acknowledged.

Dr Muvawala emphasized the strong relationship between the people of Buganda and Busoga, emphasizing their cultural and traditional closeness.

Beyond the geographical division by the River Nile, he underlined the unity shared by the two kingdoms.

Additionally, Dr Muvawala revealed plans for a tree planting drive in the kingdom to restore lost tree cover, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation.

He also mentioned the upcoming construction of a Busoga commercial plaza aimed at generating income for the kingdom.
