Latest from Luzira Prison indicate that Kayihura’s allies were fighting in Luzira prisons, a trusted source at the Prison confirmed.

Trouble started when notorious prisoners belonging to kawukumi realized they were being used by Kiyihura and his senior officers Nickson and Kitata fearing to be exposed.

On Wednesday Kazahura and Bob Kibirango believed to have been hired by Kayihura on many occasions to commit crimes while under the protection of Nickson were Poisoned by Kitata, Kasiba, according to prison sources.

The two poisoned were suspected by the group to be sharing information with security agencies on previous crimes committed by the group under the stewardship of Kayihura.

One such intel shared was that the gun that killed late Kaweesi was transported by Kazawula and dropped at Muhangi’s resident former flying squad boss. Security is looking at this intelligence.

Meanwhile, Hassan Mutyaba the assassin whose group is wanted in Sudan for a series of Murders is still a subject of investigation in Uganda as the state considers prosecution for crimes committed both in Sudan and Uganda.
