The debutantes who take on Rines at Katusabe Dove Stadium, Masindi are second on the log with nine points, four below leaders, Kawempe.

A win for Lady Doves will see them bridge the point gap against the defending champions. Lady Doves, one of the three teams so far in the league that have not suffered a defeat, have lived to their expectations.

The other teams yet to suffer a loss are Kawempe Muslim SS and UCU Lady Cardinals. The side coached by former national star Oliver Mbekeka have picked two wins and three draws in their last five encounters this season.

Elsewhere, Kawempe Muslim will face another league new entrant Dyanamic SS. The Kampala side who are seeking to win their fifth consecutive league title will look to Juliet Nalukenge for inspiration. The agile striker has so far scored six goals in five games for coach Ayub Khalifah’s side.

Lira-based Lango Queens who are yet to register a win take on struggling Town View SS of Bugiri in the hotly contested Elizabeth Group. UCU Lady Cardinals who top the group with 12 points, four above Uganda Martyrs won’t be in action this weekend.
