Another accident involving Global Bus and two other vehicles has been reported to have resulted in one fatality. Sulayiti Ssenyonga, 60, was killed in an accident that occurred last night in Kakyafu, Katovu Town Council, on the Masaka-Mbarara Highway.
According to preliminary investigations, a Global Bus (Isuzu) with registration number UBG 034Q that was traveling from the Masaka side toward Mbarara collided with a Toyota Wish with registration number UBK 051M that was moving from Masaka and heading towards Lyantonde, as well as a Toyota Premio with registration number UBB 190R that was also traveling from Lyantonde to Masaka.
One person was killed and six others were injured.Faridah Nampiima, a spokesperson for traffic and road safety, verified the event and blamed the Toyota Premio’s overtaking driver for his dangerous behavior.
