President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has praised outgoing Netherlands Ambassador to Uganda Frederieke Quispel for her contribution to relations between the two countries.
Ambassador Quispel paid a farewell courtesy call on the President at his Kisozi farm in Gomba District on July 7, 2026.
During the meeting, Museveni commended the ambassador for her service and her role in strengthening bilateral cooperation between Uganda and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
He also wished her success in her next diplomatic assignment.
President Museveni asked Quispel to continue promoting Uganda as an attractive destination for Dutch investment.
He encouraged investors from the Netherlands to explore opportunities available in key sectors of Uganda’s economy.
The President said the country offers a favourable investment environment and several opportunities for international businesses.
He also expressed appreciation for the ambassador’s work in advancing cooperation and partnership between Uganda and the Netherlands.
Ambassador Quispel presented her credentials to the Ugandan government in August 2024.
During her tenure, she worked to deepen cooperation between Uganda and the Netherlands in areas of shared interest.
Her farewell meeting with Museveni marked the end of her diplomatic assignment in Uganda.
