Museveni Advises Youth Against Social Deviances, alcohol & sexual abuse

Addressing a gathering at the pass-out ceremony of joint patriotic corps in Kampala, President Museveni cautioned the youth against societal deviations such as sexual abuse, drugs, and alcoholism.

Emphasizing the dangers of alcohol and substance abuse, he shared his own healthy lifestyle choices at almost 80 years old.

The President urged the “bazukulu” (grandchildren) to steer clear of destructive behaviors, stressing the disciplined use of sex for procreation.

During his speech at Kololo Independence grounds, President Museveni highlighted the importance of focusing on growth and hard work for the socio-economic transformation of the country.

Encouraging students to study hard, exercise, and embrace a God-fearing life, he outlined six love principles for patriotic citizens, including love for Uganda, East Africa, Africa, the Environment, Human Beings, and oneself.

Additionally, the President promised to review budgets for patriotism movements in schools to enhance the program’s growth and impact.
