Kampala High Court Sentences Serial Killer to 105 Years for Gruesome Murders

In a chilling case, the High Court in Kampala has handed down a 105-year prison sentence to Musa Musasizi, a 25-year-old unemployed resident of Mujomba zone 6, Nakulabye.

Musasizi pleaded guilty to the horrific murders of three girlfriends and a three-month-old baby in Nakulabye, Rubaga Division, Kampala.

Disturbing details emerged during the trial, revealing that Musasizi would burn the corpses of his victims after committing the murders.

The court, presided over by Judge Margaret Mutonyi, convicted Musasizi, who was arrested in March 2021 following the deaths of five women and an infant in Nakulabye.

The charges included the murder of Noreen Nabirye, Violet Kansiime, Abigail Nakitende, and Elizabeth Mutesi.

Musasizi confessed to luring the victims, engaging in sexual acts, and subsequently killing them through methods such as blunt force or strangulation.

Shockingly, he would then dump the bodies in close proximity and set them on fire.

In a separate case, Musasizi and a 23-year-old boda boda rider, Abdul Kasaija, were jointly charged with the murder of Mackline Ahereza.

Kasaija faced additional charges of being an accessory, allegedly assisting Musasizi in disposing of Ahereza’s body.

The court heard that the joint security team of military intelligence and police arrested Musasizi on March 25, 2021.

Musasizi’s gruesome confession included murdering Ahereza due to suspicions of infidelity and strangling Kansiime after a disagreement over payment.

Shockingly, he also admitted to killing Mutesi because she rejected his offered transportation money.

Police discovered clothing belonging to the victims in a neighbor’s latrine, further implicating Musasizi in the horrifying crimes.
