At the residence of a former female commissioner of the statutory rights organization Uganda Human Rights Commission (UHRC), a male government spy who purportedly left his home late at night for a security operation was shot.
Internal Security Officer (ISO) operative Andrew Kiiza Olweddo was reportedly in a critical condition when he was admitted to a prestigious hospital in Kampala last night, where he was reportedly fighting for his life.

Detectives have located the gun they say was used in the shooting at the former commissioner’s home in Mawanyi, Bwebajja Ward of Kajjansi Town Council in Wakiso District, even though the alleged gunman is still at large.
