Following a Police sabotage in his scheduled performance of last Friday Kyagulanyi popularly known as Bobi Wine, has come out on social media to send a strong message to police accusing it of being partisan and unprofessional due to the activities they carried out.
Uganda Police, what a shame that you constantly allow yourselves to be used to break the law! Last night you once again exposed your partisanship, gross incompetence and a pathetic derogation from your oath to serve all Ugandans without fear, favor or ill will, and to abide by the Constitution of this land.
In his post Bobi Wine alleges that it has enabled him to know how people are tired with the ruling government due to th failure of the police to abduct him despite them waylaying roadblocks all over the Jinja town and neighboring areas.
Shame, shame and shame on you for attacking and waylaying me and my team in the night at my hotel in Jinja. Even when I had made my appearance in broad day light waiting to perform at a show which I was paid to sing at and which you cleared!
After the police raid, the wanainchi in Jinja made it possible for the MP to elude them and any evil plans (according to his post) police had harbored. The roadblocks which were put on the way to sabotage his travel back were a failure because he managed to travel back to Kampala yesterday’s morning.
Several of his aide were arrested whom he had travelled with, including one of his constituents who was only in Jinja to discuss with him about their plan for reconstruction of Lusanja victims’ houses.
Bobi Wine went a head to demand that they be released immediately because they did not commit any crime!
I still need answers as to why I am singled out and not allowed to practice my profession while my fellow artists are working! If I have a crime, why do you run away from me when I come to your offices?
Bobi further said that if he has a case to answer, why doesn’t the police summon him and prosecute him as the law requires?
Why is the IGP not responding to the protest letter I wrote to him last week about this unconstitutional conduct of the men and women who we pay to keep law and order? Why don’t you arrest me in broad day light if I have done anything unlawful?
Bobi Wine revealed that when he talks to all the low ranking officers who are deployed to carry out the atrocities, they are as disgusted by these injustices as any other Ugandan. They simply do these things against their will and conscience on orders from the cronies of President Museveni.
in his strong waning Bobi wine comforted the police officers and army that the change is a matter of time to sweep in and should be ready to embrace it because even for them they will be free from mistreatment and guilty they are feeling.

Before ending his post he declared that darkness covering the mother land Uganda is waving.
I thank all friends from Uganda and abroad for continuing to raise alarms over our persistent persecution. We shall not relent. Darkness endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning. We shall certainly overcome.
